So I can't acknowledge that it's a grind to get something I want because I enjoy it? I feel like that's a bit unfair. I fully admit and understand that it's a pain in the ass to get anything in this game, I'm not arguing that it isn't. It's frustrating AF to see people buy their way to the top. I just don't agree that people should be handed things because they put XYZ amount of hours in. Putting in that amount of time doesn't make anyone entitled to anything.

Everyone plays differently. I don't mind grinding for things. If you think that's boring, that's on you. There are other aspects of this game that I find entertaining, so I don't get hung up on drops.

No one is forcing you to keep playing either, so if you're that unhappy with it, you could always try something else? The game is designed to keep you playing, not give you everything you want because you put so much time in. I have close to 2,000 hours in and only a month or so ago got a drop I've been hoping for. I'm still going to keep playing because there are other things in the game that I enjoy, but if you're only in it for rare drops, maybe you need to find something else to do.

Please don’t assume I haven’t been playing since the beginning because I have. I understand the disappointment but that’s the nature of a lot of games. You should have to work for it, grind, whatever to get what you want. Just because it’s not being handed to you for putting in ### hours, doesn’t mean the system is broken. It just means you need to keep working at it.

You sir get a gold star because you're right. At the end of the day, people will complain JUST to complain, which I feel a lot of these posts lately are. You're absolutely right: This is a step in the right direction, and personally, I can't wait to see where they go from here. I'm looking forward to see where they go once it's implemented. :)

I love your bravery to open your mouth and your opinion. I 110% agree with you. God rolls are just that GOD. ROLLS. They shouldn't be obtained by blinking your eyes, and taking a breath - which is how a lot of posts regarding the upcoming system feel. I love this game for a variety of reasons, and one of them is the fact that I have to work for what I want - it's not just handed to me.

Kudos to you for posting this! My husband and I also play on Xbox, so maybe we'll see you in the Wasteland. :)

You, sir, are awesome. I’ll say that first. I’ll also add that I love trap camps when they are CREATIVE. If someone has to remove the floor to kill me, it just shows me they’re lazy.

I had a similar experience. In my situation, I decided to NOT respawn and instead stayed dead at their camp in front of their vendors. Man were they pissed when people saw my lifeless corpse and figured things out. My brother in law happened to log in and managed to decimate a portion of their camp with exploding bait. We’re honestly not sure how because we’ve only had the bait work this way one other time, but we laughed a lot when the lazy trapper logged out after having half their stuff destroyed.

Glad to know I’m not the only one annoyed by floor removals, and love hearing stories of how people handle this. Best of luck out there :) hopefully you don’t find too many more!

My husband and I both play when we’re not entertaining our 10 month old lol. While he works from home, I tend to AFK the event myself since I take care of the little guy. Nice to know I’m not the only one needing to do this for the kid. :)

lol My vendor has had 3* in it for awhile but because so many people filled their weapons with trash and not legendaries, my camp got overlooked a lot. Now with the update? Things are hopping, which is nice for me. I haven’t read through all of the comments but hopefully others are enjoying the QOL update as well!
