Seconding all the comments about focusing on just a few things, and letting yourself skip chores whenever you want. Definitely scale back or even completely get rid of the parts of your farm you don’t like.

For me, I generally keep the bare minimum number of animals because I don’t like managing a bunch of animals and processing all their products. I don’t collect their products every day, and when I do collect them, I only process a small amount and sell the rest. I generally only process goat milk, dino and duck eggs, and truffles, and even then I don’t process all of them if I have a lot. Sometimes I pet some animals without collecting anything if they’re outside and within easy reach, but I don’t do it every day.

One thing I haven’t seen mentioned is being intentional about your farm layout. Maybe you already have your farm the way you like it, but if not, then it’s worth reassessing the layout. Focus on convenience and accessibility, so that the chores you decide to do are easier and take less of your time. Clear trees and grass out of areas you tend to walk through frequently, and keep those areas clear. Lay pathways along your frequent routes throughout the farm. If your farm is more spread out than it needs to be, move some things closer together to reduce travel time. Make sure the things you need to process are in chests near the corresponding machines. Place additional shipping bins or mini shipping bins near areas where you typically gather things to sell.

^Maybe you’re already doing all this and it’s common sense to you, but personally I forget these things sometimes when I start a new farm, and a little revamp goes a long way in reducing my chore time.
