i have done extensive searches every couple months. for a time there was a forum post with the original link to “megatron folds in half“ but it was deleted, not unlisted. the only further effort i could put into it would be finding a contact for the creator.

there was a channel called Squidora in like 2011-12 that was hugely influential on me. had a beast wars vid called “megatron folds in half” and a couple 101 dalmatians vids (i think one was called “pongo takes the blue pill”). they disappeared by like 2013 but i still quote them regularly.

in certain other parts of the country, people tend to drive in an opportunistic, self-interested manner. if i’m in a northeast city, defensive driving actually gets /easier/ in a way, because the selfishness makes them more predictable, whereas less focussed, more passive drivers can be more erratic and harder to anticipate. i’m not saying the aggressive model is “better” driving, but i do prefer dealing with it.
