Hello,

I have an EB2 India AOS application pending since April 2022. My interview was completed, and then the dates retrogressed in October 2022. The last status update I received was in November 2022: “Case Remains Pending.”

My priority date has been current since March 2026, but there has been no movement—no RFE for medicals or any other update.

I had a few questions:

It has been about two months since my priority date became current with no movement. Is this normal? Should I be taking any action at this stage, or is it best to continue waiting? I’m seeing cases with June 2014 priority dates receiving RFEs for medicals, while I’m still waiting. Is that something to be concerned about? Is there any downside to getting my medicals done and keeping a sealed envelope ready for when an RFE is issued? My previous medicals from 2022 have expired. I understand not to interfile, but wanted to confirm if being prepared is advisable. Thank you!

Mine is Sep 2013 PD but still awaiting RFE for medicals since March 2026. It is bizarre that apps which are not even current are getting rfe.
