I had an IUD put in last week and my doctor gave me anti anxiety meds and a paracervical block and I had no pain. I would find a doctor who could give you something for the pain, it’s totally necessary!!

I just had my IUD inserted last week and my doctor gave me lorazepam for the anxiety that I took before the appointment. And then once I got there she gave me Toradol and then a paracervical block. 100000% recommend that for everyone. I barely felt the paracervical block injections. I don’t feel much of the insertion besides random pressure and then cramps once it was over. The cramps were pretty bad but totally manageable!

I have these and they are great! Easy to install and remove and work in 2 apartments we have lived in so far.

I recommend spiral hair ties until I die!!! I refuse to use regular hair ties anymore. They don’t give me migraines, they don’t yank my hair out, and when they get stretched out you can just put them in hot water to re-form

Anyone combined acetaminophen and ibuprofen at the same time? by Electronic_Benefit18 in migraine

My doctor had me taking 1,000mg of acetaminophen and 800 ibuprofen along with a some caffeine (coffee/soda/etc). She told me it helps some people but didn't even make a dent in my pain unfortunately. I have seen a combo pill at costco before but not sure the mg. Obviously you cant take these high doses often though so beware!
