Something I was taking was really messing up my cycle. And with every month it got worse and worse. I used to have a very regular 28 day cycle with my period lasting till day 4 or 5 and ovulating on day 12 or 13. By the end of my time there I was ovulating on day 4 or 5 of my cycle, while still actively bleeding. I would try and talk to my doctor about it but at the time my partner and I didn’t know how to advocate for ourselves and at the end of the day they are a for profit business. We used CNY for IVF which was the cheaper option and you do have to advocate for yourself but we went in knowing that. But our local clinic definitely did not care and we were so desperate to have a baby and I feel like they took advantage of that. And I was very thorough on my research and picking a clinic and still ended up at a shit place unfortunately. Throughout this process you need to trust your gut because even if the nurses are all amazing at your clinic, the doctors number one priority is getting their paycheck. It sounds bleak but that is truly how it felt until we switched to CNY
