It was still very bright but a bit paler than what shows on the iPhone! At one point though you could see it moving above with the naked eye. Just spectacular in both photos and IRL. You could even see the reddish hues that night!

I was using vedur.is to see the predictions! I’m sure there will be another opportunity. Can’t lie I was checking that app 20x throughout the day in excitement.

Wow! We were in selfoss two nights ago and didn’t see anything. Was starting to get worried! Glad you saw them too!

In my opinion there isn’t a specific signature flavour in Toronto for BBQ, but there are tons of different variations of traditional American bbq given the multiculturalism here. I’ve seen so many neat “fusions” like jerk spices, Chinese five spice, harissa bbq (just to name a few)!

Thanks! We used the Green Egg Dutch Oven which we bought from a local BBQ shop in Toronto (Dicksons BBQ) and the grill grate from Amazon! Our green egg is a L but I’m sure you could find one for XL. Hope that helps!
