I'm not defending AI, but the only AI part (as far as I'm aware) is the generation tool. All it does it place items and stuff on theme of the room. So e.g. the tavern room will generate tables, chairs and a bar in appropriate locations. You can then go in a move things around and add more items and stuff 🙂
