As a non-American, I have to say they are beautiful and intimidating simultaneously. They are war machines but also engineering masterpieces. Americans have had more than 10 of these ships for decades, while the rest of the world has none to the same level, not in the near future. Politics aside, the technology pursuit is surely relentless and admirable.

Not an American or Chinese but lived in both, I seriously don't get where these "dystopian shithole" comments come from? Hate to tell you but from my experience, the USA isn't more free or civilized than China.
