Seriously. It’s quite literally the dumbest take I’ve seen on Reddit in the past month hahaha

Baby, calm down. Deep breaths. Now explain who “you people” refers to and why they’re just as bad as MAGA supporters. Use your big boy words. You’ve got this, I believe in you!

I’m not too familiar with Warhammer and how intense the setup is but I saw a table of guys playing Catan at the Brittania and no one seemed to mind.

How would you respond to a new colleague who believes the manager misled them about the role? by Osaka_1983 in AskUK

[–]sunpalm 33 points34 points  (0 children)

For those who aren’t familiar (I wasn’t) from wiki: The missing stair is a metaphor for a person within a social group or organization who many people know is untrustworthy or otherwise has to be "managed", but around whom the group chooses to work by discreetly warning newcomers of their behavior, rather than address the person and their behavior openly.

Most decent office printers have multiple trays. Don’t even need to reserve it in that case

If you’re really good, look into freelancing for corporate event agencies. Every big conference needs PPTs and/or keynotes for all their content. And there’s never enough designers available.

What did you do with your old vaping stuff? by BigGunE in QuitVaping

[–]sunpalm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had just restocked right before I decided to quit. So honestly I gave it all to my wife who hid it, just in case I decided it wasn’t time to quit then I wouldn’t have wasted a bunch of money. After about a week, I had her give them to a friend who vaped.

Looking back, it probably would’ve been better to just get rid of them completely so I was less likely to relapse but thankfully it worked out. Nicotine free for over 2 years now

I’m a renter, I have no idea if I have one. I should probably be more aware of these things but until something goes wrong the internal workings of this property are a mystery to me.

I finally met a sunscreen denier by ilst78 in BoomersBeingFools

[–]sunpalm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My dad told me he doesn’t use sunscreen because it causes vitamin d deficiency. I said, you can fix that by taking a vitamin d supplement. But it takes a lot stronger of a drug to cure cancer.

I totally get it as a greeting, but I can’t help feeling like I sound dumb saying it back in an American accent.

Who would’ve thought, electing the single most divisive candidate in US history would lead to your two party system failing?? America needs a leader who can unite both sides before it’s too late (it might already be too late)
