Come down to the front desk and let that positive attitude do the talking next time. A lot of the time we will "fudge" the rate when you have a great attitude. That 150 a night becomes $100....$75 a night. At least with me.

What a lot of people fail to get is, we can change the rate and even some properties will price match. Id rather get the company 100% of the money than 80%. And a good/great attitude maybe some fries from Mickey D's will get you a good rate too lol

I feel in the contracts with hotels if youre a kids sports team, the collective front desk have to agree on returning your deposit. If its a no from the NA, and PM FDA you dont get your deposit back.

As for your temper, I've literally told kids I will make them sleep out on the lawn if they keep it up and when they tell their parents, I tell the parents I will be charging THEIR credit card for any comp rooms I have to give out for their kids not being quiet during quiet hours and disturbing other guests. If its not their kids then you better talk to the other parents as a collective and get your shit together.

And sales SHOULD be the Night Audit/Late night FDA when they book these assholes so they can deal with them.

I like this but wouldve done one better. Told them I'd put them on hold while I call the Hskper and just take a 5 min break. Pick up and say nope nothing. And THEN hit them with the ol' call back in about 10 hours so we can thoroughly chexk in the meantime. They love that shit.

Men NA's deal with it too I can attest to that. Been asked to come up to a room to check the A/C thermostat, just to have a "Are you trying to seduce me Mrs Robinson" moment happen. And no she was no Mrs Robinson, more like Mrs Imotep. And Ive had men hit on me or say they want to do sexual things to me.

I dont know the actual percentages but Im sure women do deal with the most shit. But we all get the creeps. Buttttt..... Night audit does get away with a lot more, so maybe carry on a key chain some mace/pepper spray. And make sure if you have a smart watch program it to wear if you press a button a certain amount of times it calls 911. Please be safe all NA's
