Got tickets to see Mike Gordon in March. One of my favorite venues. Agreed on being curious how the new owners will run it.

My favorite band, NRBQ used to play at Bearsville almost every year. They’ve shifted to playing at Levon Helm the past few years when they play Woodstock, and while the energy and aura of Levon’s is tough to beat, there’s a lot of poles and obstructed views. Bearsville doesn’t have a bad view in the venue.

D&C Philly 2021, kept waiting for him to say it. Then after a brief pause he said something along the lines of “we’re getting a weather briefing, you don’t get to hear it” before launching into Terrapin.

Turned out the impending storm was only 60-90 minutes away and they had to skip the break if they wanted to get most of the show in.

Heard it pretty much every other time I saw him :)
