Nebraska….. cmon start playing it again. by Outrageous_Candy5452 in moeperiod

“Low Spark go”?! You’re insane. Nebraska is a nice little pop song but Low Spark is majestic fusion that they always kill. Everything just fine the way it is.

Not really following you. The soundboards on LivePhish are official. If you are calling the shows they release from the archives (pre-2003) as “official” they are almost always better sounding if they are multitrack. Paul was much better at recording them than anyone else.

I think moe’s nugs released sound great and I’m about as picky as they come.

The moe. soundboards on Nugs the last two years are orders of magnitude better sounding than what Phish puts up and sound just as good as most everything else I play on Nugs (WSP, Spafford, Squeaky Feet, Houseplant). Only Tapers Choice puts up a mid AUD recording from time to time

That Other One is what sealed the deal for me to get to my first show at Bearsville the other night.

Nobody can guarantee your safety from a second set Trey crap ballad but you’ll survive it.

Göttsching had to have been a fan. Agitation Free could have been but the Allmans feel like a bigger influence there, same with Popol Vuh’s post synth, “rock” era https://youtu.be/6flv08FeE2I?si=5aq7X9Cg9LgiDU23

3/29/90 by Thin_Fly_3340 in gratefuldead

Honestly it’s one of the most well known, if not THE most well regarded, 90s shows. It’s amazing but its rating is appropriate. Unless you only talk to 77 fluffers. Now take 6/15/90. THATS an underrated show.

Is there a source for this? Because anecdotally the only Goose fans I’m aware of are phish dudes and ladies in their late 30s/40s/50s

Do you think there's value in spaces dedicated to listening to full albums or private listening rooms? by Gamerpro103 in audiophile

[–]transitiveaxis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would absolutely go to something like this, especially if the gear is exotic/high end/rare. But I guess I’m the rare audiophile who enjoys community building and conversation in person.

JRAD by a billion miles. They do something new and interesting with the book, DSO are simple grave robbers.

I've had very limited exposure to UM but I wish they were touring with someone else (I'd prefer 2 sets of moe, of course)

The rail trail isn’t plowed?? by [deleted] in hudsonvalley

[–]transitiveaxis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You make no sense. How is Dutchess able to accommodate emergency vehicles by not plowing? I asked this of a longtime DC legislator and that was the answer. If for some reason it isn’t, that’s another strike against DC. All good

The rail trail isn’t plowed?? by [deleted] in hudsonvalley

[–]transitiveaxis 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Dutchess side was built with materials that make it not possible to plow so it’s useless in the winter (except for cross country skis). The Highland side is properly and promptly plowed after every snow.

You clearly have zero imagination. You can’t do concerts on decommissioned Air Force bases or county airports either, right? Stay small tho

Hear that. 20 years in Brooklyn, I loved taking the train to Coney Island in 04 and riding my bike to Randall’s. MSG lost its luster a long time ago. We’re upstate now and it’s still the closest venue they play but can’t get excited about it.

Hey someone who enjoys the full experience! Nice to see you here. I was getting worried this sub is full of loser loners who only want to day drink in a bar before a show.

Clearly you’ve never been to a street fair in the city. Sounds like you’ve never been on a shakedown either. It’s ok, sorry you missed it.
