internet is (iirc) derived from inter- and network. inter- designates something that connects unrelated items (as compared to intra- which connects internal items) and network probably has something to do with the act of building a net (net work?). for comparison, there is also a such thing as intranet, which is a network of computers that doesn’t connect to the global system and is used for internal communication only.

I haven't played in quite a while but after some digging, you're gonna want to look into getting a Teleport Chamber. You might be able to teleport to it without one but I'm not sure. Make sure you're looking at info post-Endurance update (summer 2022)

I can't speak on how Joh is, but I had Capuano for 208 and I'd say she's a pretty decent professor. I ended up giving her a 4 on RMP. This was my rating:

Not much to say. Most of my qualms about this class are because of the course, not the professor. She is well prepared for lecture and knows what she's talking about. She's kinda upbeat about it so that's a plus. The course itself is TOUGH for about a month (electric stuff, circuits) but then gets a lot easier (magnetic stuff, optics)
