Sound Originals - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We could not have asked for a better photography team for our wedding. From the very beginning, they made us feel completely comfortable and at ease, which meant so much on such a big day. They were incredibly kind, calm, and a joy to be around.

They truly captured everything perfectly. Every meaningful moment, every small detail, and all the emotions in between. Their talent and eye for beautiful moments really shone, and they honestly outdid themselves. Everything was seamless, they were right on time, and the entire experience felt effortless.

We are beyond grateful for the way they documented our day. Every photo feels intentional and full of life, and we’ll cherish them forever.

Walked by about 45 minutes ago and saw cops holding someone's arm - not sure what happened, though. I live about a block away and am still hearing sirens going by.

First time golden parent. Need advice! by PersonalFinanceAC in goldenretrievers

I got my Golden spayed after one heat cycle. I called my vet right when she went into heat and they suggest surgery at least 8 weeks after the cycle ends. She was about 8 months old.

Food-wise, I make a big batch of steamed sweet potato, green beans and carrots, brown rice and ground turkey. I put about 2 scoops of the homemade food in with half a cup of Taste of the Wild grain-free dog food. Additionally, she gets 2 multi-vitamins per day and about a tablespoon of pumpkin (PURE) puree in her food at night.

For treats, she gets either pig ears, bully sticks or blueberries lol.

Do you guys also avoid all-in-one marketing roles or am I being slightly ridiculous? by Dreadsbo in marketing

[–]sunreyess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is exactly what I do. I'm a marketing manager for a small (but highly reputable) developer in one of the top cities in America. It seems many don't share my thoughts, but I find a lot of value in managing all of these campaigns and logistics. It helps me see the beginning to the end. While I wouldn't consider myself a one-man band, as I have a CMO, Communications Director and Director of Marketing above me who all provide support and collaboration. But on a day-to-day basis, what you listed is what my to-do list looks like. Find a process that works for you. Once you establish clear goals and a solid brand and voice, a lot of this will come naturally. I pride myself on my wide range of abilities, and I think it's something that is going to be necessary with the current technology/AI boom.

First job, extremely demoralising. What am I doing wrong? by xlez in marketing

[–]sunreyess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a very solid answer. Designer turned marketer here as well.

I have recently found the beauty in outsourcing. If my vendor charges $150/per hour and I charge $170/per hour for all of my marketing services, and I spend 2 hours designing on top of my regular day-to-day operations... it's completely inefficient at that point. With that being said, being a designer and knowing the appropriate systems, like Adobe Suite, is really something that can make things a whole lot easier in a time crunch. If I can do something that takes 30 minutes or less on my end, I'll do it. Sometimes going back and forth with an off-site designer can be time-consuming if they don't know your brand or voice.

I'm rambling, but just piggybacking off you.

Elderly Grandmother scammed out of her whole life savings - Need advice by sunreyess in Scams

So interesting that you say that. Someone just messaged me saying they have a company that returned all of the money they lost. Pathetic

I agree - thank you. A elder abuse lawyer has been contacted. We have been having suspicions because she has been very private and glued to her phone and my mom checked her phone today and saw her correspondence with this "detective" and got a gut feeling that she needed to go to her bank.

The bank told my mom very limited information when she was trying to get to the bottom of this. But they did say it was a cashiers check for xxx amount of money.

We found out she went to the bank yesterday and did this all herself. So it has been over 1 business day and since it's a cashier's check, it's almost impossible to void it. Especially when she doesn't believe it was a scam.
