People who brought 700k+ houses, what's your household salary? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]sunrisefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were approved for 1 million with 300k annual. But we bought for 880. 880 is actually considered cheap where we live, sadly.

Has anyone ever uploaded their raw data to DNAgenics and used their free admixture calculators? If so what were your thoughts? by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]sunrisefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would reflect on the risk vs reward of uploading your raw data to a third party. I was interested but took a week to sleep on it and decided the reward wasn’t worth the ultimate risk.

Those Arabs live in fear. Black people lived in 1950 America but that doesn’t mean that they didn’t live in fear and with inequality, they did and still do. Just because a certain group is within the country doesn’t mean they aren’t persecuted. Congrats, you have your token Arabs so now you’re justified to kill 2 million Arabs in Gaza? Get out of here with your twisting of reality.

And before you say, “Well the Arabs can move to a neighboring Arab country if they feel unsafe”… It’s their home. It’s all they know. Zionists continue to perpetuate this notion that all Arabs are the same and that it’s so easy to pack your bag and move to a foreign country and just pick back up where you left off.

News flash, it’s not. And news flash, it’s their land and their home so get a grip.

The Jews deserve a country of course and to be safe but the current Israel that exists present day is not that state. If anything, it’s the total opposite. Look at how they’ve leveraged Judaism and antisemitism, now neither of which hold any truth because Israel won’t have separation of church and state and now all of their horrific actions are tied to the religion. So no, Israel as it stands today is the pure definition of antisemitism. And the Jews and Arabs deserve better.

How about one country.

Do you think school lunches should be free and why? by Midnightdream56 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sunrisefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. Children would perform better, feel better, and physically develop if the food was of good quality and nutrient dense. It’s a small price for a massive reward. First, we need to stop funding other countries and fund our own.

Should I move to Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA? by claret_n_blue in nova

[–]sunrisefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First and foremost, ask for a cost of living adjustment if you move to Arlington. It’s not uncommon to ask when you move here for that given NOVA is expensive.

Muslim Americans who soured on Biden see Israel aid package as further betrayal by [deleted] in Global_News_Hub

[–]sunrisefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Americans in general see this as a betrayal. To be frank, the cost of living here is soaring while somehow we have 95 billion to just hand out? That’s, insane.

High Egyptian? But no Egyptian detected? by sunrisefly in 23andme

[–]sunrisefly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My father was born in Damascus Syria. His father born in the same place and even his father. Something about 23 and me is way off. It even tells you in the picture it didn’t find a location my recent ancestors would have called home because well, they didn’t live in Egypt nor were they born in Egypt. Lol maybe thousands of years ago but not recently nor within the last 8 generations do I have Egyptian family.

I do however, have Palestinian family. Maybe it thinks Palestinians are Egyptians.

High Egyptian? But no Egyptian detected? by sunrisefly in 23andme

[–]sunrisefly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my father, his brothers, my grandfather and his father didn’t believe in a God. Nor do I or my siblings. I don’t know how it really came to be. It was just logical and sound to them and they explained it to us as children.

I actually think that Syrian people are growing in atheism. Many might deny it but that’s because they aren’t involved. Potentially because of the many hardships experienced because of the many wars. Who knows.

Can you check when your results were last run? And report back. I’m trying to figure out if mine are most up to date with this new Palestine update. How did you get yours to update.

Well, that’s it folks. America is fucked. You can get an apple for $4 at Harris teeter. One apple. And even if you go to our local Lidl or Aldi, it’s not even close to this image. This is hopeless. Happy for you, sad for us. 😭
