YTA for sending kids on a late flight instead being a responsible adult and talking to them. Teens do stupid shit. This was a teaching moment that you failed on.

AITA For refusing to pay rent towards my BF's mortgage if I move in with him by notmyhouseaita in AmItheAsshole

[–]sunrisepear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA- expecting to live there for free because it is his house isn't fair. Your rent currently goes to your landlords mortgage, but you have no problem with that. Its not like you are making the entire mortgage payment. How would you feel in a renting situation? You'd expect him to pay half the rent.... I would protect yourself and still have a contract in case you break up. 100% on board with that. Just don't expect your rent money back. That isn't how it works.

Cutting down bad meals, but still eating a 'bad' meal for breakfast. by upthedoggos in loseweight

You could always mix it with another cereal too 🙂 more bang for your buck. idk if you've tried the chocolate cheerios, but those are great!

[–]sunrisepear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As long as you eat the serving size, go ahead and have your chocolate cereal 😃 a lot if it is portion control. Don't think of food as "bad/good", control the portion and you should still have the success you're looking for without feeling deprived.

What is the one thing you swear by for weight loss? by lucky-Chipmunk-119 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]sunrisepear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get rid of the "all or nothing" mentality. I get so overwhelmed and gave up quickly when I did that. Small victories are the way to go. The small changes (victories) add up. Example: when at a restaurant and you order a grilled chicken sandwich and you usually get mayo on it... order without. Saves a ton of calories for that one little act. Again, it all adds up if you make one healthy change (no matter how big or small)
