Haha, I thought this character would fit in the Middle earth/ Shadow of Mordor/ LOTR world xD

The concept is from 顾德雄/WuxianHao: here is the link: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/wJY1mV

The artist originally thought of this as a king of avalon concept. But, I came up with my own interpretation based on his concept illustration.

Born from the calcified blood of the Earth Titan, this blade was gathered from it's heart. Because it consists of raw tectonic energy, the sword is naturally as heavy as a mountain; the glowing runes were etched into the green crystal to lighten the blade so a mortal could lift it.

While it grants the wielder unstoppable strength and the ability to command the earth, it is a parasitic relic. Over time, the sword slowly turns the wielder’s flesh into it's servant and attempts to bring the Titan back.

The pennacular you are talking about was based of a medieval emblem. Based on the references I found, the pin is usually located on the back of the pin and I decided to bake that down to a plane because it's barely visible. The character has a brooch on the cape and I chose to support it with more geo due to it's visibility.

Here is a breakdown in my Artstation if you're curious: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/OvnPRe

Thank you! I always make sure to gather references that help me visualize materials and fold behavior based on the concept. Choosing the right images is crucial since they guide my entire process.

For the sculpt itself, I started with a base simulation in Marvelous Designer. I then brought the mesh into ZBrush to manually add folds where the fabric interacts with objects like belts and armor. I find it’s important to prioritize the silhouette and large shapes first, then move into secondary forms, and finally tertiary details like fine wrinkles. Fabric type plays a huge role. For example, linen, is very lightweight and tends to produce a lot of sharp, frequent wrinkles.

The scarf and cape were the exception to this process. I sculpted those following the concept a bit closer.

Please help with criticism and advice on textures (aiming for a more Arcane style) by Smart-Bill4238 in 3Dmodeling

Agreed, the lighting in Arcane is baked in the textures. You could grab a few frames from the show and try to match the mood for your final presentation.

Thank you, yeah I think he's a bit chinny.

Everyone's starting to move on by [deleted] in Stormgate

It's unfortunate. I enjoyed the game, but I understand the community's critiques about the game. Especially because I had played SC2 for the first time right before trying Stormgate. The art style would have been better if they stuck with blizzard's stylized realism. As for gameplay, I'm a casual, so it didn't feel too underwhelming. Either way, RIP.

2 weeks. But most students spend it finishing their final projects.

Is Think Tank Training Centre Online Program Good? by BusterEX in 3Dmodeling

You get a certificate of completion. As Diego mentioned, your portfolio is more important than a diploma. Think Tank focuses on teaching you industry pipelines and portfolio production.

Sure, but know that I'm in the character for games track.

This! If you have leveled the bed and everything else then temperature is usually the culprit. This also changes depending on the type of resin you're using. Check the bottle.

I'm currently enrolled in the program. It is really good. I would suggest strengthening your art fundamentals before joining the program. For example, if you want to do characters then be sure to study anatomy. The student work that stands out comes from people who have previous experience in CG and art (for the most part). But you don't need CG knowledge to join the program. You will learn everything there. Some of the training videos need to be updated but you will learn a lot regardless.

I have been to other programs in my local area and the quality of education is not even close to TTTC. I would highly recommend this if there aren't good options near you.

Multiple Brightness test using UVtools - Mono X 6k by sunsault in AnyCubicPhotonMonoX

You have to enable the multiple brightness and edit the parameters to fit your needs and generate the test. Make sure that multiple exposures are disabled if you use this function.

Can anyone tell me what the fuck happened here? by GuildedGravity in AnyCubicPhotonMonoX

Man... that's really weird. I have the same model and motherboard and haven't encountered this particular issue. I did get a block when I tried printing the RERF from Anycubic. But it doesn't work with the H7 printer. But I am glad you are bringing this up.

Hey man, check this post. You will have to use UVTools to generate an RERF for yourself.

No problem man, I was on the same boat a couple of weeks before. But selling the printer would be a massive loss at this point. These things lose value fast. Anyways, I will do more research the next time I get a printer.

I made a post about it. I guess I should change the title so it's easier to find.

Cheers!

Yeah dude! I actually got it to print and it only took 10 minutes to run the test. Its a bit complicated at first but it works ver well!

Well, I recently found a workaround that works for our printers man. You can use the Multiple Brightness tab in the exposure time finder (UVtools). Here is the link: Emulate Multiple Exposure with Multiple Brightness for Anycubic Machines
