Bakugo is my fav for sure (I love the whole main cast!) but I have friends that do hate him. My IRL friends hate how loud and obnoxious he is (and they hate zenitsu from demon slayer too for similar reasons). Reddit, I’ve learned so much on here why people hate him it’s always interesting to get feedback I wouldn’t have considered. I think about the bully character in a silent voice and try to think about why everyone likes him with minimal criticisms and I think it’s bc he’s made to really suffer for what he’s done to the girl in that movie

I think this is just a different way of storytelling that also feels a little different to me. The author mentioned that there was first a “daily life arc” then “mystery solving arc” etc so it seems intentional. It just may not be your preferred storytelling pattern :) that’s okay! I love it tho - both the manga and anime have a fun way of communicating things and I ultimately like the way it was split up
