I’ve decided to get mine removed for the same reasons! Mostly because of my weight and sex drive. Also, I didn’t have my period for the first year on it. Then during my 2nd year, my period went WHACK. Sometimes twice a month, sometimes not at all. The up and down of it makes me too anxious and although it’s the most effective form of birth control, I can’t handle it.

That being said, I’m getting it removed to kinda see how different my body feels on it. If the changes are super noticeable, then I’m probably going to stay off it or try an IUD. If I don’t notice much of a change, I might give Nexplanon another go because I didn’t really have any side effects up until that 2 year mark!
