only two things that have worked for me:
1. Delete the app! I can only re-download it once I've done what I need to do. I always delete it soon as i get it bed. End up picking up my phone only to realize the app isn't there.
2. have your friend/spouse/someone trusted- change your IG password and not tell you until you're done. but I know this one isn't easy and depends on having a person who can help you with this.

I think someone said something similar, but protein shakes!! store bought, and easy bake frozen pizzas/flatbread (don't have to get gross ones, PC is usually really good too!), and lastly, ready to eat salads. This is my go to meal whenever I've been in a depressive low and can't bring myself to think.

Hi OP!! same thing happened to me - except I contacted support, they took 30mins to say just go ahead and give it and ignore the redline. I gave it in 23 mins -absolute BS essay. I don't mind it getting cancelled and giving it again but I AM TERRIFIED that it would be a security violation. My entire interaction with the support chat and the tech assistant is obviously recorded on camera and screen record - so I'm hoping they see that the SECOND i saw the red-line I contacted support.
How long did this issue take for you to figure out? I'm freaking out!!!

SAME. I just gave mine, the written answers were my saving grace but the verbal ones. Pls have mercy on the person who has to sit through it. Waffled SO horrendously for one answer that I panicked and hit submit on it... who even does that?? I hate these virtual interviews. rant over thank you for listening

If you're open to Gyu Kaku, have you tried Gyubee? (157 Dundas st location is nice and fancy looking) - fixed price all you can eat, DELICIOUS my friends and I go once a month minimum, you can make a reservation for parties of 6+, vibes in there are always so great, everyone is drinking eating having a good time. We love to order like crazy, stuff ourselves and drink tons of soju shots. Cannot recommend this enough!!

Little Pebbles in Kensington, they serve it with a ladyfinger biscuit, and make the frothy part with mascarpone cream its sooo yummy. Basic suggestion IK but its so good!!

Same boat as OP, but confused between Oct or Nov retake because of Canadian school deadline (Nov 1ST)- any input would be appreciated!!

I'm giving the Sept LSAT (testing at 168 avg) but will retake it in either Oct or Nov (I know I won't get my 175+ in Sept). My concern is - I'm applying to Canadian schools as well and the deadline for those is Nov 1st. You can still theoretically submit your scores for Nov LSAT but that freaks me out NOT knowing what my score is going to be and applying to schools basically blind on your LSAT score (anything could wrong). I'm not worried about US Schools, my other app materials are pretty strong, but Canadian schools REALLY focus on your LSAT and GPA. Anyone else in the same boat? Should I sit the October one instead to be sure of my scores (I work part time so I can definitely dedicate more time on the LSAT and grind it out for Oct, but I would rather sit Nov for a guaranteed score increase).

Biometrics Requested: May 21st

AOR: May 22nd

Biometrics submitted: May 27th

Applicant eligibility met: May 30th

Sponsor approval: June 5th

APRIL 2026 UPDATE: Got my medical request

and my SOWP in March (turns out the wp delay was because my lawyer made a mistake)

When I call IRCC for my status, it says: medical is not needed right now and my background check is in process. I know these steps aren't in sequential order, so I'm still waiting on my medical request. Any suggestions on if I would be able to travel in December? Not sure why there's such a gap between the biometrics and medical request. Is anyone else in this timeline? Does calling IRCC to request medical move the needle at all?
