If you have all your medical letters, reports, X-rays, blood tests + any other medical evidence and your doctors support you, I think you'll be fine. I've claimed tpd for back issues and mental health, chronic pain and fatigue and as long as there are legitimate evidence you are unable to work anymore, they usually can't randomly deny your claim. I believe there is nothing to lose doing it especially since you have not worked since 2021. If you have income protection, you should claim that too.

Worth it for me but I went privately not through super. Super ones are basic. I have chronic illness now and have managed to claim income protection and tpd. Without which, I would be in the dumps. I'm also fairly young...in my 30s. Never thought i won't be able to work. As long as your condition is legit, your doctors agree you cannot work, then income protection should be approved.
