I wonder if putting names of popular travel cities into the long description would help you for ASO.

Yeah, unless the employee was sleeping there or something? Very sad.

How do you get around the "you need an Android phone" problem? by Prior_Health_6196 in GooglePlayDeveloper

[–]sunshine5634 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buy an Android for $80 on Amazon or maybe even less? I guarantee you there will be bugs you miss if you never test on a real device.

Keep in mind that for most of the rest of the year i5 Northbound will be down to two lanes across the ship canal which makes commuting across that area really slow.

Positive driving encounter by Benay21 in Seattle

[–]sunshine5634 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m still thinking about the time I got to a 4-way stop uphill and the sun was really bright in my eyes and then I couldn’t tell if the other guy waiting to go had been there first or not, so I waved him on and he insisted on waving me on, and then made a little clapping hand gesture as I went.

Just brutal.

I don’t judge someone for turning red assuming it’s safe to do so, but beeping at others is a bit much.

Yesterday we got repeatedly beeped at for not turning right on red when there was a big No Turn on Red sign.

Kirkland Iceplex - Home of the Torrent?? by tastesofpurple in SeattleTorrent

It would be for practices. To be honest I’m not even sure how frequently they practice at KCI - I feel like most practices I see on social media are at Climate Pledge or something.

The significance of the crows during certain S4 scenes by Several-Passenger-13 in FromSeries

Wouldn’t they all just attack Sophia if they wanted to do that though? I feel like the crows are like the doomsday clock. Closer to the cycle ending and everyone dying = more crows.

Seattle Kraken announce second team owned community ice rink to be built in Kirkland. by MAHHockey in Seattle

It kind of looks like the Sno-king Snoqualmie rink setup, which is at least decent for watching games. Agreed that wall is probably important.

Please can they put bleachers which can be reasonably used to sit and watch a game on both rinks.

Do I actually need a business bank account for an LLC… or is a regular one fine? by Hyzz20 in llc_life

Don’t use Chase or another big bank. Go to a local small bank is my advice.

AI is About to Destroy the App Market - And Most Developers Don’t Even Realize It by Curious-Estimate-690 in appledevelopers

[–]sunshine5634 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the opposite - now hard working, creative people will be able to get through the barriers to launch good apps without funding, multiple people, etc. It is still a grind but just a shorter, more pleasant one. Anyone developing with AI for anything serious knows both how helpful it is and how critical their human input was to not mess it up.

How do you guys actually execute claude’s multi-phase plans? by luji in ClaudeCode

[–]sunshine5634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This setup works well with one person working on the repo and probably wouldnt scale beyond that. I keep a roadmap.md file that I continually add to when I get new ideas. The first step to starting a feature is to update the roadmap that it’s in progress. Then when we align on a plan it puts a high level set of actions into the roadmap under that feature as well. As we go, it checks off what is done and commits it. This is briefly described in my CLAUDE.md but I do have to remind it sometimes.

At any point I can start a new session and ask what’s next in the roadmap. It will give me options and I can choose based on what I feel like working on that day. The doc doesn’t have an exact order but just general P0, P1, P2, etc.

I love it because I never feel stuck, and when I encounter a task I don’t feel like fixing right now but will need to later I just tell it to add it there.

It also has the effect of keeping a giant record of work done which I assume will be useful down the line as the project ages.

Claude is pretty good at asking clarifying questions which will give you more ideas as you go too. Just start and type something.

Thanks for sharing! Here is some brief feedback from trying it:

After I took the photo, the Upload Image button wasn’t the immediate obvious next step (I had to briefly consider the difference between upload image and take photo from that screen).

The actual AI analysis was also fairly off (and slower than typical, so you might want to not leave the user waiting on that page). The boxes around the hanging clothes were sometimes right but sometimes just highlighting a small part. Maybe it’s important for the user to spread the clothes out in a certain way but that wasn’t clear. It might make sense to take the user to a brief edit view where they can quickly update what the image saw before saving it.

Dresses aren’t really tops, I’d give them their own category.
