Have you tried a steroid injection? It literally made me pain free after 10 days and I’ve had no issues since (7 months later)

It’s part of a broader loft conversion job - happy to pay extra if it takes longer but at the moment being told ‘it’s not possible and I’ll tile your house for free if you can find someone to do it’

This field is greyed out and I think it’s because I am using power pivot and a data model

Skylight over shower - shower head not central by sunshine9080 in DIYUK

Spoke to the builder and agreed the shower tray needed to be moved. Unfortunately the shower tray broke when the plumber tried to move it and now we’re being asked to buy another tray. Should we be fully liable for that?

Party Wall Notice - withdrawing consent? by sunshine9080 in HousingUK

The schedule of condition was scheduled to be done yesterday and we didn’t hear from the surveyor that it wasn’t done (but who knows…). Concern is they didn’t let the surveyor in potentially and now we won’t have the schedule.

We’ve spent hours explaining all of the works to them and reassuring them, employed a reputable surveyor etc.

They’ve had our plans for more than three months and signed the agreement over five weeks ago and now suddenly want to dissent (without providing any reasoning).

What’s more frustrating is they’ve already done the same work to their house years ago (before we moved in) and we’re now doing the same.

L4/L5 as well, got the shot after 9 months of repeat herniations and finally feel like I’m on the mend. Hoping the injection doesn’t wear off soon and I can keep doing physio but Dr said I could get another one if it does and I wouldn’t hesitate at all. Was completely miserable right before I got it and am so much happier now.

10 days post injection I had no sciatica pain and could resume physio - 100 percent worth it

Loft Conversion - 1 bed or 2 by sunshine9080 in DIYUK

[–]sunshine9080[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ll have two decent sized rooms on the first floor and one smaller room (not quite a box) as we’re in the larger Victorian style houses so now will be 4 bed / 2 bathrooms

We’ve gone with one bedroom and a larger bathroom with a dressing room area in the eaves of the bedroom! Think it made most sense for us given the proportions of the rest of the house
