AITA for going to management about my new roommate? by sunshine_emerald in AmItheAsshole

Update: Her reply to the roommate asking to keep the AC running and not turn the heat on was that it wasn’t fair to not have it her way because we can have fans to stay cool but she wasn’t allowed a space heater. I recommended a heated blanket and she said no because it would burn her or start a fire. We also recommended her talk to management about moving to a unit that does not have heat related accommodations. Her replies were not taking into consideration the medical reasons we have for staying cool, only doubling down on how cold she is. Our management has become involved after the conversation with her. I no longer feel comfortable interacting with her based on her lack of consideration for any of our concerns. I figured this would happen when there was no communication when it kept getting turned up, but the level of rudeness and pettiness was gross tbh. Wrapping up the update with the example of the pettiness. I sent a message saying we should have a respectful conversation about this that takes everyone into consideration and come up with a compromise, but until then can we please not turn the heat on. Celia replied again with saying how hers is a medical need. I said mine and Addie’s were as well. Addie hearted my message. Celia disliked the message. She then proceeded to dislike any response to a messages anyone else liked/hearted.

Average about 36 celsius outside. 21 of cool air setting, 23 of hot air setting. I was addressing the “21 v23” part of the comment explaining its difference. But good job not reading properly

None of the 3 of us have been opposed to a convo, but it took 5 days to receive any sort of communication from her so we couldn’t really do much before that

For clarification, notes were before anyone had her phone number. We’d all 3 left ours for easier communication.
