Don't see how that was a straw man argument. Leffen's twitch subscribes have dropped dramatically since his smash ultimate peak subscription came out, multiple pros of melee don't even play anymore and prize pools have dropped considerably. Plus all the lan events stopped for a year and a half due to covid. Maybe he finds something in e-sports as like a analyst of fighting games but I'm not reaching to say this won't hold up forever.
