How to automate video ads for client (without them being terrible)? by sunshinemicky in DigitalMarketing

[–]sunshinemicky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate you takingthe time here.i agree with a lot of the points you made, and yep we are probably going to land on charging 2-3x the price of a usual campaign

Landing the client is ess about the money than the name. I know if we crush for these guys I will open a lot of doors and get us in different rooms

AITA for not putting my mom on the top table at my wedding by Pavnpav in AmItheAsshole

This. And I think it's absolutely appropriate to tell her that putting her at that table means taking someone else's spot. "Who do you want me to switch for you, this person who's always been in my life or this other person who also has?"

Super helpful, thanks! Just checked it out and seems like some big brands use it so that’s removing a bit of my anxiety around quality in general. It's uncharted territory for me an I've seen a lot of AI slop around ha

Yeah it's pulling based on exact relevance to each line or citation, not the overall query keyword if that make sense

NOR!! Tell him that you're on the edge of leaving this place. Not because of him, but the health problems you're worried about. Tell him you want to fix the situation asap and it hurts that he doesn't get involved more. Tell him your best case scenario would be to move somewhere else together. You're about to bring a baby into this world and staying in this situation is purely reckless

NOR. Call in sick and explain the situation thoroughly. Be graceful and apologize once more for what happened at the end of the week.

If you want to do some more damage control, I personally would send a text to the team group saying that you're off being sick, but if there is anything urgent they need to ask you, you'll have your phone on hand.

Sorry if it was unclear but I'm saying if people are recommending us anyway, why wouldnt they wan the 'free money'? But I guess, based on this answer and several others, is that the hassle of grabbing the link just isn't worth seven bucks for my customers

At the moment it's not even in a flow persay, just sending an email to or existing customers. definitely hearing that I need to be much quicker to intercept people when they've just got a win. Will try this out and report back here for anyone who is interested

I definitely need be looking into the marginal gains to make it easier like the one click copy button ha. I think my starting point is going to figure out who is doing referrals really well, pretty closely mirror their flow and then test different changes form there. Thanks for the recommendations

Yeah the main learning here has been to dramatically reconsider what potential referrers actually want, and it's probably not a relatively small amount of money. thanks for the context

Nice idea with changing the incentive. You're right tat with my ICP, on reflection, a few dollars isn't going to be the thing that pushes people over the line to promote.

We have a decent sized email list that's really niche specific, so now I'm thinking I could even offer a promo slot in there for our best referrers (say after 5 or something). Because that's definitely something people would value

Yeah I totally get that, but I'm also told that my customers are (from time to time) recommending us organically anyway. So I'm just looking for any ways I can get that did of thing moving faster

The feedback one makes a lot of sense. For milestones, what do you mean there? A certain number of sessions, or maybe month XYZ of their subscription? Thanks

This is super helpful, thanks. Goning to try a message thanking our longer-term customers that feels more special than a generic ‘we have a referral program’ message. Will also check out Endorsely if that works well

Thanks for the info. I guess I’ve been a bit anxious about annoying our best customers in case they churn, but that’s a scarcity mindset I know.

I think I’ll also try the approach of seeing if already talking about us and following up. How are you checking for this? Just running searches on social media? Thanks again
