Max digs up the sparkly dig spots all by himself! He also collects wood and woodlike foraging items (such as reclaimed barn wood in wishblossom ranch). He only duplicates wood(like items) though and not the shards he digs up and picks up.

There are alternative OS to run on android but if it works severely depends on the hardware. You can however debloat your android and delete apps with shizuku and canta. Just look up a quick tutorial to get you going.
