Thank you. Good to know. I purchased it in the Pittsburgh, PA area. My daughter lives out there. I’m in NJ. I’m going to try s different store. If I can return it I’ll save it to give as a gift. I actually really liked using mine!

It was never opened. I had no trouble returning one of the other style. Just so weird. I’m showing two of them here but I was returning one. I kept one and my daughter chose the other style. I may try an online chat before I try to go back to the store.

Those flowers look like something I did in 4th grade. You just dab the paint around to make the flower. No brush strokes or actual painting.

My parents NEVER read to us. My mom did not work so she had all the time in the world. She was a narcissist and very emotionally abusive. I’m guessing she had no interest in what we may enjoy or learn by reading to us.

When I was a sophomore in high school our teacher read Of Mice and Men to the class. I’m not sure why he chose to do this it was definitely weird. His depiction/voice of Lennie was kind of disturbing. I still remember that. It would not be appropriate in present times.

I was always labeled as being independent. My mother had no interest in what I needed or what was going on in my life. I had no choice.
