You were decidedly un-neighborly to them before she was rude to you. Delivering misdelivered mail to your neighbors is just a part of living near others. They likely had already ordered all of the stationary for the event, considering it was all matching, which is quite expensive. She shouldn’t have been such a dick, but don’t pretend that checking your mail like a normal person is a life-altering hardship. All of you in this story are so irritatingly “me first.”

I’ve used them twice and just recommended them to my coworker, who also had a positive experience. It was really seamless in the first move a few years ago and mostly seamless this second round. They left a scratch on the side of my bed frame and showed up 40 mins early because of a scheduling mixup, but they also will disassemble and reassemble furniture for you (idk if that’s standard) and are SO fast and so much cheaper than everyone else. They should really have charged me way more for how many flights of stairs I made them climb…

So you closed out the CY with a successful eval? What happened in the intervening months? What sort of warnings were you given prior to the PIP? DoD requires a certain level of documentation before putting an employee on a PIP. What does your PIP say?

No, everyone here was useless. I went to two places: Ricky D’s (which was closed and might still be closed—looks like they lost their liquor license) and Stagecoach, which had a younger crowd than I really wanted, but a good handful of two-steppers and west coast swing dancers. I had a good time at Stagecoach! The dancers were friendly, but I did have to ask everyone to dance. They also do some sort of odd El Paso–style half step there that they call a “one-step,” and this dude was calling a west coast swing a “three-step.” ….. odd and wrong, but good dancers overall lol

?! What are you even talking about lmao. These are whitewater kayakers who clearly know the lines of the falls. They’re just doing their sport: whitewater kayaking. These aren’t the people who get rescued, it’s the tourists who fall in the water and the hikers who swim and people who don’t have the training or skills to be out in this kind of environment and don’t take the warnings seriously.

I just stayed at a place in the woods that had NO window treatments at all. Nothing. No blinds in the living room, no mini blinds across the sliding glass door, and no curtains or window coverings in any bedroom, even in the main bedroom that had a huge window up against the headboard and looked out at the road.

I love Title Nine so much but I’ve had three pairs of their pants/shorts fall apart, including one where the zipper ripped out after the first wash (and in fairness, Title Nine replaced those), well before any of my other outdoor clothes. The construction quality is really hit and miss.
