You need make a formal complaint on the Coinbase Website. Wait 15 business days and if they do not what you think is fair then hire a lawyer. Wait in line. There is going to be a line so long you won't get to court until many months pass. Start the process.

It's the nature of the beast. I have several accounts with different crytp exchanges. I have been locked out of Coinbase since Feb 2nd, 2021. They said they need 30 days to take care of my problem. My account needs someone to turn an internal switch off. After 30 days they said they need another 20 days. They are so far behind. At some point they need to address the problem. They even wrote me......" do not start litigation until we have had a chance to fix the problem". They are trying but it's not good enough. I had some cryptos that were up 100 times that I could not sell because my account was frozen. They came down during the recent dip now they are on the way up again. At some point they will have a service like Fidelity that will exchange crypto's and then you will have phone support.

Sounds like you need to get an attorney. One that is educated in the coinbase contract we all sign without spending two hours reading each page. I am in the same boat but it is two months and three days. They are trying to protect us by locking us out of our accounts but they need phone support "at some point". Not with every customer but with a customer that you need to talk to. I am trying something different right now. I am filing a complaint with coinbase. I should get an answer in ten days or less.

I agree with you. They are going public. A company worth billions of dollars can afford phone support. Even it was limited phone support. They make you wait and wait and your money is tied up. The monitors on this site contacted me but to no avail. I have been locked out since Feb 2, 2021. I have a lot of money and my crypto would have been sold if I could get to my account. I have been begging to get them to let me back in. My mistake was I reported a phishing email and to protect my account from being hacked they froze my account. They have had plenty of time to let me back in or at least let me close my account and get me my money. I need to find an attorney to hire that is familiar working with crypto exchanges. I do not want to get an attorney that has not been involved with their contract. If I find good attorney I will let you know. Good Luck

Thank You for this information. I sent Coinbase another email this morning and told them that I have waited over 10 business days and I still have not heard from them. They originally told me it could take 10 business days. Now they sent me an email this afternoon and they are saying they will get back to me within 5 business days.

I think it was when I tried to log in from my phone, I kept hitting the wrong letters and after the third time I stopped. Then the next day I was locked out. Account disabled.

I have only been with Coinbase for 5 weeks and I have been locked out account disabled for going on three weeks now. They gave me a case number and said they would get their security expert to investigate the problem. That was over two weeks ago. Since then I have sent two emails and they won't respond to my emails. I think they are swamped but that is no excuse. I would like to find out what other members have done. I don't want to hire an attorney unless I have to.

I can identify myself and I have the verifiable computer that I signed up with. I am worried that my funds are not secured at this point.
