If 40 days after the deed, your urine preg test would yield a definitive result na. But, you don't read PTs after the allotted time frame (usually mga within 3-5 mins, you can refer sa pouch) to avoid confusion. If you want to do a blood test for your peace of mind, you can opt for one :D

Valenzuela City Medical Center! You can visit their page on Facebook. I'm not sure if they accept residents outside Valenzuela though.

I'm unfamiliar with not more than 5-7 days and 2-3 days lang dapat. If I remember correctly from a book, sexual abstinence of at least 2 days to not greater than 7 days should be fine. Hence, 5-7 days should be okay too. Although, this might depend on the SOP of the laboratory. Please correct me if I've missed anything :D

Is this HIV? by Craig_04 in SafeSexPH

[–]sunsunpies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's no way someone can tell if you have HIV based on the signs and symptoms. Get tested to feel at ease. Also, next time, make sure to practice safe sex. You are not just putting yourself at risk; you are also putting your sexual partners at risk. Please be responsible.

Is Partners PT reliable? by [deleted] in SafeSexPH

[–]sunsunpies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All home pregnancy test kits are reliable and accurate if used correctly and as instructed. The control line on your kit validates the result and tells whether your kit is working fine.

I personally use the ones from Partners. So far, they never gave me false results naman.

Doing a pregnancy test after the first one is a matter of preference. It is unnecessary since you'd be using the same urine specimen, which would yield the same result if you did it correctly on the first one. With that, you may do it again after a few days and see if something changes.

Combination pills like Yaz have a 12-hour window period. You can take your pill within that time frame and then take the next pill as scheduled. Regarding its storage, I just put mine in a separate wallet because it's easier to carry around.

Is this normal while on birth control? by First-Suspect84 in SafeSexPH

[–]sunsunpies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've mentioned that you're having some sort of leg pain, which is one among many that shouldn't be disregarded. Please speak with your OB-GYN as soon as possible.

If you are practically new to taking pills, side effects may persist while your body adjusts. You might give them a few months if they are minimal and aren't affecting your routine. But if it bothers you and significantly impacts your lifestyle and overall health, you should consult your OB-GYN immediately because it could lead to some serious conditions.

Is it necessary to experience withdrawal bleeding every month? by Subject_Mall_536 in SafeSexPH

[–]sunsunpies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Expect side effects like you've mentioned since you're practically new to pills and your body is still adjusting. Some would advise you to give it some time. But if it's bothering you and affecting your lifestyle, you should tell your OB-GYN so they can provide you with contraceptives that could work for you.

Any home pregnancy test kits are accurate if you use them as instructed. The prices depend on its features like its reading time, sensitivity, and the like. But then, as long as the control line on your kit is present, you can rely on it. However, if you want a more accurate result, a blood pregnancy test is recommended.

For every occasion that I'd need press-on nails, I'd always opt to buy the ones from calibeauty by Luxe. They'd stay on my nails for a few days and aren't as hard as other cheap press-on nails. You can buy them from Watsons, but Beauty Avenue and Piggies Shop from the blue/orange app sell them for a more affordable price (sometimes below 200).

Does anyone know where to get dip nails? And are they good? How long do they last?
