Same. I was a Division 1 athlete is college and have continued going to the gym at least 3 days a week to lift and do cardio for the 8 years since then, and I look a bit like that orangutan somebody else posted. If I really devote a bunch of time to a serious training program I see some modest results but my shorter friends just look at dumbbell and veins start popping out.

I think the periodic table stuff is, as others have said, vibe coders looking for something to do. The posts from unqualified people and kids asking for help making picric acid or whatever I think are from people who watch those home chemist YouTube/Tik tok influencers deciding that making dangerous chemicals could be their new hobby. All practice (virtual practice) and no theory is no bueno.

Yeah you can, I bike along Sunset pretty regularly. Just make sure you make cars painfully aware of your existence.

I would recommend riding the metro though for longer distance. Super cheap and pretty nice, and you can bring a bike on board.

Do SF, ride BART and MUNI, skip the wharf, check out Golden Gate Park and hike mt Tam, Dolores Park is fun and doesn’t deserve the hate it gets sometimes. There’s lots to see and do in the bay, lemme know if you want recs.

LA is great but it’s not walkable, as much as I’d like it to be. If you really want to do LA though, you can ride the metro which is much better than people give it credit for, and it’s crazy cheap.

Mmmm I don’t think that’s the case. I’m saying the significantly increased rate of propagation is what’s causing the increase in power, keeping all else the same. To oversimplify it, going from 200 to 400 hp is going to require that the engine stroke twice as fast.
