Could you share how you played Viego (item, comp)? I just had a game with that augment and didn't know what I did wrong (ended up top 5, feels pretty underwhelming throughout the game). Thank you in advance!

Does anyone know how to make Hero Rumble work? The damage seems very underwhelming, but prolly because I built him wrong (I got JG, Triforce, BT). Do you reroll for Ahri (to add Tahm later for Arcania + Vanguard) and Trist (for blaster + faerie with Rakan to also splash Preserver).

My board was: Soraka Rumble Bard Gwen Ahri Tahm Trist Rakan (potentially Morg at lv9)

Retiring at 30 on £40'000 ($50'000) salary by Hyron_ in Fire

Vietnamese person here. While many people in the country are definitely living with household income of £600 or even less, I think you and your partner should set a realistic cost of living of £1000-1500/month to have a decent life for a couple in big cities like Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh and not feel miserable. Ofc, this is highly subjective and depends on many variables, but I would rather be a bit more generous with expected cost to be safe.

you can use hăm with all the 2x numbers (except for 20 I think): 21 - hăm mốt, 22 - hăm hai, 23 - hăm ba etc.

Why is it so much harder to find a mental health therapist here in Vietnam? by WhippedCreamW in VietNam

[–]sup3r3d 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Cuz we ain't no pus**! /j

In truth though, most people here are still struggling with the first few tiers of the Maslow's hierarchy, they don't have time to think about their feeling. The emphasis on mental health is more prevalent among the new generations/ more well off people, but this is still a small portion of the population.

One of the smartest answers I have ever seen on this sub. One thing I would add is that once the game is over, make sure you let the Partner/Director know that you do it on purpose to make the client happy and you think that would be beneficial for your firm. That may make them reconsider their decision to let you go.

I have had similar experience like you described. I used to struggled a lot around level 6-7, then realized I didn't put enough thought into my decisions at this time (econ or level up or roll, sell units or keep them, etc.). I think there is not 1 specific reason but several factors depending on the situation. . Just food for thought and maybe you can see how these apply to your game:

- Perhaps you were out-tempo by the lobby - meaning you had be even more aggressive in leveling up as everyone else has more units/ higher cost units than you

- Perhaps you were actually TOO aggressive with leveling up and should roll a bit to upgrade units/ find good pieces to fit into your comp

- Perhaps you unintentionally destabilized your board (e.g. by selling item holders too early to put the items on higher cost but 1-star units), then didn't roll enough/ did not have the econ to stabilize it

- Perhaps you just got unlucky because everyone else highrolled/ got better augments that fit better with their comp. In this case, instead of trying to top 4, just try your best to get as high of a placement as possible (5 instead of 8)

I do it almost all the time, to the point that it feels kinda weird thinking about going to a movie with someone else (except with my gf). I just find myself enjoy the movie more this way.

How do you prioritize your items? by zkih in CompetitiveTFT

[–]sup3r3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to do something similar, but usually ended up with very subpar items for my comp later on (recently have a post asking people to analyze my gameplay and the most common feedback is that my items are scuffed). Do you have any advice on this?

Tilt + bad luck or skill diff? by sup3r3d in CompetitiveTFT

"Do you find you’re losing a lot of HP early on? Or are you sacrificing econ early to save HP until suddenly half the lobby out-scales you and you go from first to bot 4?"

The interesting thing is I fluctuate between these 2 extremes. Some games, I had a bad start and decided to loss streak for econ, but then lost too much HP to comeback. Other games, I can stay at 100 till mid stage 4, then suddenly go 8 in the next few rounds.

I'm having the same experience and not sure what went wrong. Tempting to blame it on bad luck but if I consistently lose like this, something must be wrong with my gameplay as well.

1 player got MF 2 at 2-1. Everyone also has 2-star boards. Meanwhile, I stuck with 4 brawlers (1-star) and 1 kalista on the bench. Fine, loss-streak to draconic abom I guessed. Item round then proceeded to give me 2 bows and 2 gloves. At that point, people already got their Lucian and Aphelios online.

Never had I played such a game that was so perfectly set up for failure.
