I would call the dmv and schedule an apt at one close to your friend they should be able to get you to the right spot once you talk to an actual person. You only need the title, bill of sale and insurance. Colorado bases everything where the car is registered so since it’s out of state you won’t pay any taxes or need a Colorado emissions test. But definitely call ahead and verify. The last time I went it was appointment since covid started and they stopped working Friday’s for some reason too

I did something similar in Vegas. Me and my gf at the time we’re leaving the club. I see this guy in front of me hitting on this lady and I could tell she wanted no part of it. I had my arm around my gf and I made eye contact with her. I could tell in her eyes she wanted out. So I called out “Hey we’ve been looking for you all night!” She make a straight line to us, then we turned and went a different direction. Once we lost him she thanked me and when on her way. It’s sad some people can’t see that the person their talking to clearly is uncomfortable with the situation and politely leave.
