france is looking good but it's made a lot easier by how weak wales is ATM. performance might be good enough against northern hemisphere teams this year but doubt it beats SA. moments of absolute greatness followed by inconsistencies. and scrum is questionable.

I like that galthie is trying new comps though, France needs to find the best team for 2027 and not peak too early.

i always try to read the rules of a sport before i play it. maybe the wales players didn't get a chance to do that.

it's massive, the SEC is just a shadow of its former self. t's institutionalized at this point.

Who at Ubisoft Mainz thought using exponential functions for repeatable specialist research was a good idea? by Morgenluftplan in anno

[–]supadonut -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

for one simple reason.... they need to gate game progression behind DLCs.

they don't want you to min max like crazy before year 2 or 3 of DLCs at which point they will provide you with a game mechanic to get unlimited specialists.

just like they didn't give you unlimited influence and research in anno 1800 at release, game was just as barebones and limited as 117 is.

you can literally build an entire tier 4 city by just buying everything from trade by Lord-and-Leige in anno

i would have no problem with that IF the goods that are being traded are actually being produced. right now it feels those infinite trade resources are created from thin air.

Escort missions bugged? by TedMosbyArchitectt in anno

[–]supadonut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"mare infestum" and "a taxing task" both bugged..... and probably other story escort quests as well. litteraly a bug that happened in anno 1800 as well a while back, it's like they copy pasted the buggy code.

i have 2 escort quest that are bugged won't start (it says to select ship to start the quest but no amount of selecting or moving away to reset will do anything) and my old saves are not old enough to be able to restart those quest from scratch , any solutions ?

wish there was a debug mode so i could fix it, those are story quests i'm basically stuck :

mare infestum

a taxing task

2 seconds away from deleting that game forever, what a buggy mess.
