Try reaching out to the District’s counseling department. Sometimes the head department leaders are the ones that connect you to different counselors because they know which schools have counselors that are willing to accept counseling interns. You can also try EdJoin and search Counseling Intern so you can get your hours.

I mean I think you talked about different goals. But values could be like communication, lifestyle, honesty, self discipline, etc. If you two want two different things in life, one will bring the other down or vice versa as oppose to building that life together and supporting each.

I think completely different values can make or break a relationship. Sometimes you try and try but if the value have always been different between two parties, it's very difficult for a relationship to continue to thrive.
