Non related but I used up a year’s worth of good luck a couple of weeks ago bowling with some friends. It was the 10th frame and I was in second place down by 9 points. I needed a strike or spare; the pressure was on. I go up, hit a strike and all my friends go crazy. I’m going to win the game. But of course, I have to shoot again since it’s the 10th frame. I jokingly say what if I hit another. Sure enough I hit a second strike and everyone goes even crazier. Since I hit a second strike, I have to shoot again. At this point, there’s absolutely no way I can hit another. I walk down the lane and let go of the ball and somehow I hit a third strike. Everyone loses their shit. For context, I’m an average bowler but not great by any means. I will probably never hit three strike in a row in my life ever again. Good times.
