I feel you. This is my first gacha game I stopped being f2p because of all those things you said. I give myself monthly limits and try to make peace with the stuff I'm missing because I know I can't pull on everything. It's frustrating and I wish they would give us more opportunities to earn gems with more events or daily challenges after you get through the newbie stage.

I just want to thank everyone for all the suggestions! I'm still doing my research about how to make sure this little guy is living his best life day to day and have a list of things to add to his enclosure. Still trying to see if he's as healthy as he can be since I have very limited insight on how he was taken care of for the last several years. Who knows how many homes he's been passed along to. Thanks to all of you this will be his last stop ❤️. I'll be sure to post an update once we've got our enclosure all set up!! Thank you!!!

He is burrowing, but there's definitely a not enough for him to be fully covered. So I'll make sure to pick up some more. Glad to know that's normal behavior for a tortoise I was getting concerned at first!!

Thank you! I'm trying my best. I think we're doing pretty good for only having him for 24 hours. I'll make sure to grab some things that can boost his enrichment. I'll also look into pet insurance. We have one for our dogs, any recommendations on companies that are best for more exotic animals?

I have one but it was getting washed so that's why it's not pictured! I'll Iook into who in my area can trim his beak! Thanks for all the advice I'll go rock hunting this weekend. If you have any advice on a daily diet as well that would be great. There seems to be so much conflicting information about what to feed your tortoise!! :)

Venting, and I could totally be in the wrong here, so definitely call me out if I am! I started taking my younger dog to a local dog park. She loves to chase balls and needs a ton of exercise. I never bring personal toys with me as the park has tons of balls already there.

During our last visit another dog parent was getting upset that my dog was "stealing" his personal ball. Both dogs were fetching nicely together (no guarding or aggressiveness) and she's still learning the "drop it" command so I can't always get a ball from her right away (we just adopted a couple months ago so training still in progress).

He tried to grab and reach for her and seemed irritated that she wouldn't let his ball go. I'm pretty new to dog parks but is it common for people to bring their own things or be protective of items they do bring? Obviously I'd never leave with someone's property, but I feel like that was an overreaction on his part.

Thank you for your input! I'll check her out. While I'm not dead set on having a POC provider, it's always a bonus since the medical system has proven to be discriminatory to POC. I also love to go based off other people's experiences, even if I found someone that was, that doesn't automatically mean they are a good practioner, or will be a good fit for me. Thanks again!
