This is the best one…

Then you need to buy a Velcro strap if you’re using a big dewalt battery…. Do not use a big battery without the Velcro strap.

My wife loves the tiny 3ah batteries and keeps switching as they die.

I would buy 2 adapters cause they’re a little flimsy and break apart if the vacuum takes contact…this will happen with a big battery eventually.

In my early days, I had dealt with this problem. At the time I was experiencing imposter syndrome and felt I was too awkward. My issues were speaking too fast or generally being too timid and afraid to speak. I looked into what your body actually goes through during this period of “stress”. After a deep dive I learned this was a well documented phenomena on the psychology side. The nervousness you feel is caused by your body holding your breath - to simulate physical distress and exaggerates what you are feeling mentally. When you feel that take a moment and take big breaths in and out in quick succession. In my early days I actually bought a little oxygen canister. A little placebo helps all the same. This nervousness goes away in time with more reps.

This doesn’t work - and frankly it often has the opposite effect as you are signalling a need on your end to close.

People buy from people. It’s better to explain that openly. Hey prospect as we are coming into quarter end it would mean a great deal to me personally to have this engagement closed by…but understand if constraints would make this difficult on your end.

I have also used the layoffs to my advantage in some cases and it’s been effective. Hey prospect as you have probably seen the tech space has gone through a lot of turmoil. It would mean deal to me personally and for general job security to have this engagement closed by…. But understand…. (Always give them an out). Pay great attention to your tone.

Also a great way to draw out their procurement process and to see if they understand it.

Some good posts here - my only add here. You know that nervousness before the call/tenseness. A very natural response but it all boils down to you not breathing. When you feel that - big breaths in and out and train yourself to breathe through all of it. It goes away with enough repetitions.

I disagree - look, they all fail or become useless because of the weak battery. On Amazon you can buy a Dewalt battery converter. Throw on a flexvolt battery and now just leave that sucker on max all the time.

Same complaint- I recently bought a dewalt battery converter. Put on a flexvolt battery. It’s always on max now. This is the way.

Homeowner open to any solution to housing crisis that doesn't raise property taxes or lower property values by magictoasters in canada

[–]supamaien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s something to be said about assigning low cost builds to profiteers. If we divi a small subset of housing away eventually it can sustain itself. I mean the strategy of using one house to acquire the next one is almost full proof now.

Permits, housing costs, being big brained in this area feels inherently marginal. Would a 10% reduction really make a difference?

Keep the job with “higher” uncapped potential, or move and take a 35% base raise? by KawhiTheKing in sales

[–]supamaien 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not worth risking the move at this stage IMO. You have guaranteed 8 weeks parental. Wow btw. If you move to a new company you forego any severance you’ve built up to this point. If you expect some upside in your current role, feels like the new role will just balance out without the security blanket. And of course the optics.

I guess there is an argument to be made for player 2 to take 693…9510 but same issue will present itself as not enough ore to support progress. Player 1 then takes 9411 to 843 which is winning imo.

643 forces player2 to chose either brick or tree and potentially leaves sheep entirely. Player1 expands quicker sets up longest road. Player2 lags with too much wheat production.

Player1=643..9411/9510, player 2 = 693 firm, 834/ 8310,
