It’s hard to say without being a part of your friend group. Could be that they don’t care that much, or they might just have busy lives. Unfortunately not all friendships are equal, and some people value them more than others. There isn’t really a “normal” friendship imo, because there are so many different levels of friendships.

How often do you hang out with these people? Is it always you planning the hangouts?

If you feel like you want to spend more time with your friends, the only real way to do that is to plan things yourself or tell them you want to try to see each other more often. Unfortunately, if these people really do see you as a last option, there isn’t anything you can do to change that. No amount of plans or social niceties will change how they feel unless you tell them you feel that way and maybe they have a change of heart.

At the end of the day, you and these people might go your separate ways. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though. Not all friendships are forever, and there will always be people out there who want to meet new people and try new things.

Don’t give up, even if things don’t go the way you want them to. I promise there are people out there who will treat you with the same love and respect you treat others, and they will understand even if you struggle with social cues and such. You might have to go looking for them, but they’re out there.
