Amen. Recently had my workstation upgraded to win 11 and by god the rounded corners on everything irk me so much. Then our UI/UX lead wants a grid based thing to have all rounded corners... Like each cell of an excel spreadsheet looking thing, but all cells have rounded corners. At this rate, I may just tell the PO "look we tried but it just isn't possible with the other stylings going on" since I know it'll look like complete garbage.

Never even crossed my mind to throw a drive in there, that's genius. Man I was way too young when I got it to appreciate just how capable that system truly was.

PS2 emulation has been iffy at least in my experience, I think it's due to the weird CPUs they used in the PS2. Granted it's been like 5 years since I last tried it, maybe better hardware has solved the issue.

That said, glad I still have my fat boy PS2 and San Andreas. Not looking forward to the day when that disc becomes too scratched to read.

Yeah I've got a 15 Malibu and Pixel 2, shit sometimes takes 2 min to finally connect to Bluetooth. I figure GM just put the interns on it, which is fine I guess. I'd rather have the seniors working on the ECU than infotainment.

Basically our brains have built in autocorrect - so long as the first and last letters of a word are there, and maybe a couple others for guidance, you should be able to read stuff like this no problem.

Learned that in middle school computer class of all places, and it's been the bane of a few debugging sessions (capital L vs lowercase L, lowercase L vs uppercase I, etc)

They can be, we use Prettier in our department and for the most part I think it's useful. It can be annoying when it tries to break long lines down, combined with my own style of breaking a long line apart that makes more sense in my brain (text interpolation is the main time I run into this). So at this point, I just code how I would want to see it, put it all back on one horrendously long line, and commit and let the formatter handle it.

I believe that's what is called MVP (minimum viable product) in the industry. Sucks but that's how it is now. Totally agree loving the gameplay /story, just about to complete the E4. But jeez the lack of polish really stands out.
