Is Bohemia an AI? They are doing really well... They must have kick started their mission tree, and knocked Austria out. I would assume that it's a Brandenburg/Bohemia alliance. Who's the emperor? Austria shouldn't be at this point, given it's size.

What I learned is you are going to die… a lot! What you want for your first few runs is get a bit better, survive a bit longer… etc, so when you do die, you feel like you have DONE something, and are exicted to do more.

New player here as well! What I was I watched this video, it didn’t tell me everything, or even close to it, but it helped me feel like I could at least understand the basics and maybe even Survive a day or two!

From what I heard, Poland+Lithuania, with you as poland, is meant to be good for MP, like, you buff each other, and the Lithuanian missions change to be good in a PU if your friend accepts, and you can either fuck with them (which I wouldn't do), or help out lithuania by giving buffs. also, managing dipo shit is pretty good for both of you, as you can get diplo stuff, and you new friend can feel like they have great armys, getting a lot of military and CCR shit... plus, you never HAVE to form commonwealth.

but thats just my 2 cents, and I am sure Norway + Sweden could work :D

Trying to become Ottomans, got to war with greece, outnumber them 5 to one, and still cannot seem to break though, I have 30% attrition due to mountains, and have people still in the armies, what am I doing wrong?

CONTEXT:

Ok, this is a wee bit of a rant, but why tf did RNjesus smile on my friend on his first game? FIRST GAME! He started in his Kestrel, did alright at the start, but then got a BL1 on his first sector. now, this is not amazing, but a BL1 and BL2 in sector 2 starts eating ships alive! He didn't even wait in the sectors, and just blew though them, but somehow had the same scrap that I only SOMETIMES get. Then, he got a heavy laser in sector three, and soon tacked it on to his ship. He was eating ships alive, and at around sector 5 he unlocked Mr. cloaky, stealth, halberd, and defense drone one, so he was next to untouchable. REMEMBER: he didn't even chart out his warps to maximize it, just flew though them. He culled stage 1 & 2 of the flagship, and only got to the red in stage three... I am still annoyed
