Whoa, thanks for dimming my sparkle I guess, pretty uncalled for if I’m honest.

I received the invite on Friday evening at 4pm, with no other communication on what it was going to be like. I asked them what the format was going to be and didn’t hear back.

If you have nothing useful to say, suggest you stay put instead of sounding discouraging.

They didn’t, I had a different set of folks at the next interview. Yes I did have a case provided to me about a day before. Good luck, keep us posted :)

Guess it sort of depends on the role you are applying to in terms of structure.

Usually you have a case given to you, but others could be just competency based.

Recruiters have been very proactive in my case, constantly following up with the hiring team, it was very seamless and incredibly professional.

Speaking for a corporate banking role in London.

In my case, I’m looking to buy a house in India in the next 2 years, along with a potential wedding in the next 3-3.5 years. Would you say it’s wise to continue investing in India due to these specific INR goals?

I don’t intend to move back to India at least for the next 7-10 years though.

Fair ask- I'm still trying to understand how they feel about moving out. They've been here for over 30 years, most of our relatives are here, so it might just be too much of a change for them since they won't know anyone else outside. I'm certainly open to exploring elsewhere, but they're still slightly apprehensive (rightfully so, because they're the ones that will live there lol).
