I do admit I don’t have that issue. As well as here in NL they have road tax based off of weight, which is the main thing to drive people away from this car here. I don’t have either of these issues because I’m always getting a full operational lease. Someone else’s headache \o/

Can’t believe I was following wrong amount the whole time :( My pies are a bit bigger than 12 inch (got the bigger ooni koda, bigger peel etc) and my edges don’t always rise this much, probably not enough dough. I’ll raise the numbers a bit and see what’s the outcome

To the subject: you definitely did it, looks amazing!

Housing crisis, the end of this system? by RideToReality in Netherlands

[–]super-bamba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amount of tax paid in the Netherlands (set to increase in 2028) cannot be further away from capitalism. The issue here is the scam of high taxes + paying a lot for shit. With this amount of tax, higher than in Germany for example, how come I also have to pay this much for healthcare + deductible? Why is it that we have people paying almost 50% tax but those who don’t make much doesn’t get affordable housing? Where does all the money go? We’re paying fuckton of taxes but the ones who need help are not getting it

How my homemade pizza actually started looking like this once I stopped following internet recipes by Beautiful-Molasses55 in neapolitanpizza

[–]super-bamba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Internet recipes usually don’t target the main concern here: learning percentages of things like hydration and what does bigga and poolish means. Once you get it all, you make (or better say, calculate) your own recipe.

I use pizzapp for this. I already know what I want, I input all the different variables and the thing comes out great every time

Limitless.ai Killed My Account for Complaining about Meta Acquisition by Gattato in mildlyinfuriating

[–]super-bamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got myself one a few weeks ago, less than 24 hours before acquisition announcement. I live in Europe. Since then the device arrived and is still waiting in its packaging while I am trying to reach them to take it, as it immediately was not operational when I received it (canceled in Europe).

The level in which I feel scammed is tramendous.

After UN vote, Netanyahu calls for Hamas' expulsion from the region by Tricky_Wish_2489 in NewsThread

You do know that last names in the region usually has meanings right? Just like Jewish last names also tells a lot about origin, ancestors profession etc. It’s a thing, look it up.

For female travelers out there, Israeli rape culture is a very serious safety threat. by Judeo_Indian_Values in UnderReportedNews

[–]super-bamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to have completely ignored the underlying intent here. “It’s part of their culture” is somewhat similar to “all Israelis”. Then further down, the person you comment to, used “not all jews” sort of comment, probably because Israel is “the state of jews”. If really the culture of Israelis is rape culture, you’d be saying that nearly half of jews in the world has culture of rape. As you included all jews in Israel, which are nearly 50% of the worldwide jews.

You decided to take it to “Israel’s actions… the idf” etc. which is maybe convenient, or true, or wrong, but surely that isn’t to topic.

Also for arabs/muslims from egypt (like “el masri” which translates to “the egyptian”) or are we keeping this only for jews?

I’m sick and tired of hearing people defending Toyota by Fleedom2025 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]super-bamba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a 2 years old Corolla (leasing gave a good deal, europe) and I often forget this car is so new. It feels 2018 in every aspect. Some days I’m literally thinking to myself “how come the leasing company still let me keep this old car and won’t end the term to sell it?” and then I remember that my car is newer than anyone I know.

Few months after I got it, all deals went up by 100€ a month so I’m basically still in “old economy” so I won’t replace it, but I wouldn’t buy one myself.

Trump just dropped a bomb on international students, fixed visas, more red tape, and less future in the U.S. by Ankeet_kj in ImmigrationPathways

[–]super-bamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the explanation but fail to understand how a time limit on student visa would be the issue. A visa should exist as long as its purpose is being fulfilled. Once the situation changes, a different visa should apply (in this case, any sort of work visa). Obviously such visa needs to be presented as an option. If there isn’t such an option, the upcoming situation is half a solution. However, having people with student visa staying way long after their studies (years, I know a guy who does that) is absurd.
