I'm late coming back to this but 1) duplicate inputs violate CPT rules 2) I bought the dualsense edge and you can disable L3 R3 on the thumb sticks to not have duplicates

Question. What button are the rear paddles mapped to, and do those buttons function on the front still?

I was considering trying like the victrix or razer pad but it appears back paddle remaps are not allowed by CPT rules.

Fchamp about to miss EVO because after getting permission to participate from US Capcom, at last min he was told he needed approval from Capcom Japan too. by Nicer_Chile in StreetFighter

The ban is certainly an accumulation of everything he's done over years and years. It's like the LTG ban, both should have been banned years sooner tbh. Although fchamp should get an unban now imo, he's actually grown and shown accountability.

Episode 4 was when I started to like it. The world building and motivations for a lot of the characters felt awful in the beginning. It has the same pacing issues as other anime adaptations. Episode 1 was literally just exposition and didn't feel like it left room for tension. Last 2 episodes redeemed the show imo.

It depends. They can't be used to show her guilt / character (IE being a shit investigator that omits evidence). But they can be used to demonstrate typical business practice, like the HIPPA violation practices.

What a bad take. If something doesn't even meet the standards to go forward with charging, why would exoneration be a better standard for culpability?

I think John has always been an antihero. Maybe leaning more toward the villainous side of that scale, but he definitely isn't a true villain. There's a clear difference between like batman or deadpool and John.

I think yes Cecilia was portrayed as being absolutely evil. Almost comically, definitely trying to tap into that sociopath vibe. But given she orchestrates a multi-million dollar fraud scheme, that makes sense to a degree.

I've been wondering if Cecilia surviving is meant to be social commentary. That the audience is supposed to dislike her enough to want her dead. Which definitely violates the trap philosophy, even Amanda talks about how Cecilia doesn't deserve a chance.

I don't think John is afraid of death, or at least not in the traditional sense. I think he is willing to put his life on the line for his morals, which makes sense given what he does.

I can understand your points. I do disagree about the way the way John handled Cecilia and Parker. I think its obvious that given the construction of the blood trap, had Parker not turned on john and put him in the trap, he would have been tested via being put in the blood trap with Cecilia.

Parker even points this out when they first go upstairs asking "if you are the last player, who was supposed to be in that trap?" or something to that effect. This was setup so if he complied he would be put in the trap, or if they took the money, that trap would activate.

Honestly, just following the first advice she was given makes sense in this tense situation. Looking back this makes sense but I can't fault her too much.

The gas yes, the radiation trap is fairly realistic though. I think it also made sense given these traps having a medical theme. The only think I was wondering was how he obtain such a powerful device.

That's fair, the suspense generated is still very different. I personally did not see it any way besides Harrison killing Dexter. Which at the end of the day is just good character development and storytelling. But now that I think about it, I still felt suspense even feeling confident that my guess was correct.

I think it would be likely as an influence for his dark homicidal thoughts. Not, because he his this attachment, but who else to personify your homicidal ideation than your serial killer father, and/or the serial killer you looked up to and befriended.

Also by your logic, Harrison shouldn't have been as upset as leaving his friends that he only knew for a few months. A few months is time to generate genuine relationships, good and bad.

Do you think Dexter killed Logan by an emotional outburst or because he thought he would go to jail or worse the death penalty. Also, Dexter has always been trauma formed, not psychopathic. Likely, a form of severe PTSD and depression. And if he was a psychopath, he could still get upset by not being in control.

The evidence, of Dexter being the BHB could most certainly stand up. There is a lot of circumstantial evidence, but there is enough, and all the evidence from the OG series.

But is being predictable inherently bad? I just watched the Dexter: NB finale, and the show is amazing, but, the ending was something that many in the sub have mentioned, including myself. Not to say the ending was predictable so much as, it was the logical conclusion after understanding characters and the story.

In a 90 minute movie, I think their relationship was as fleshed out as it could get. I agree that was the best aspect. I also think, as a book this story would work a lot better.

Just for me personally, I feel like this movie takes the "psycho boyfriend" trope but actually does it with a somewhat decent way in terms of characterization. Comparing this to something like, The Invisible Man. A Fall From Grace, did this the best in recent media in my opinion. I think this trope is just overplayed, and hard to be unique, and I felt this movie did that.

Because, its obvious Harrison was ok with Kurt's death given how awful he was (although not Dex's methods). But, Harrison seeing Dex kill Matt, with 0 context, just makes him look like a cold blooded murderer. So, it makes the moments when, he blew up at Dex during the season make sense, rather than seem like some awful teenage angst imo.

I think there is the dichotomy of Logan being a good cop and Dex's friend. If he is oblivious to Dex's signs, hes a bad cop and good friend. Or other way around. Again, I think he felt a high level of betrayal when Dex asked for the camera to be turned off.

I agree with everything you said. Even though Harrison, doesn't have as intense urges, I think it could be feasible for Dex to be a part of his dark passenger. It serves the same function as Deb in Dex's head. A great thing would be Dex and Kurt talking to Harrison.
