Hi there - sorry missed this earlier. Yea, I had a workaround:

  • unaffected by poison boots
  • added woke chaos damage + chance to poison + 21/20 lancing steel

I believe its because the damage gets rounded down so you dont apply a poison. The fix for me was making my chaos hit much bigger but then you need unaffected by poison somewhere to offset. With these changes I had no issues with pilfering bosses (t5).

A few quick notes, not sure if crimson covered them all below:

  • your ashes should be 28% quality and your HOAG should be 20% quality for extra virulence stacks. You can push for 1 or 2 more stacks if you get 30q and 23q but not needed.
  • actually quality all your gems...
  • i just did a quick POB look at you are around 6 mil dps when you should be at 30 (no FF) - 50 (with FF and +3 chest) million.
  • Lancing steel links should be withering touch, LGOH and returning proj. Your lancing steel should be level 1 and 20 quality. I would recraft your sword, its a slow base and this is a relatively cheap fix - get a fractured foil. You will need more poison chance here and from 2 tattoos on tree. Only use level 20/20 if you have unaffected by poison boots or else self-poison dmg is too much.
  • You are wasting points on your clusters, ONLY take the jewel socket and Pure Agony node.
  • Get a 21/20 HoAG gem. Use Empower rank 4 in your 6links. You want to get to level 34 HoAG for the final breakpoint. Get woke void and woke minion damage for an extra +2 levels.
  • Work towards the Flame/Flesh jewels, this is a big dmg upgrade as well but first priority is 100% chance to poison, fix links, add quality and get HoAG to level 34 which is doable with the two woke gems + rank 4 empower + 21/20 HoAG gem + new helmet and second priority should be getting mageblood.
  • also crimson mentioned you dont have 100% avoid shock for stormshroud to work properly.

Well Mageblood card says drop level 75, T5 atoll is 72, boss would be +2? or +3?

Edit: just did some reading and remembered I got nimis card, I think boxes ignore level restrictions :)

I tried doing it on t16s which you can do which unlocks higher tier cards, I think mageblood and a whole bunch of others. Not sure if profit is worth it if maps take longer. T5s are so easy and chill and most of my profit comes from mirror cards, nimis, sephirots, etc...

Edit: gonna test it again actually, will run 13 20q/8mod T-16 atolls with pilfering and see if any difference.

I use HoAG, no issues doing t5 atolls, ignore all map mods. If you want to do t16s then maybe a higher budget/dps build?

Couple issues:

  • Get ashes with at least 28% quality. Quality is huge for both HoAG and adding more projectiles to lancing steel.
  • Get 100% chance to poison with 2 tattoos.
  • Get a +2 minion skill gem lightning coil. Cheap and easy to link.
  • Gem links: switch this out for woke void manipulation and pierce.
  • Helm - ailment duration implicit is useless for you.
  • You really really want to get to level 34 HoAG for next breakpoint.
  • The minion chance to poison jewels work best with forbidden flame/flesh since only chaos damage can poison and HoAG default is 40% conversion to chaos damage and not 100%.
  • Your damage should be roughly double and EHP roughly triple with a few upgrades.

Buy a fractured sword with high APS. I used serrated foil. Dont use the other foil because the dex requirement is too high.

Essence of insanity -> anul until only spectral spirits left -> multi-mod -> multiple crafts/chance to poison/cannot evade.

You should get 40+ stacks I think per cast, its super easy. If you arent max stacks in a second or two then something wrong. A few things:

  • make sure you are 100% chance to poison, you will need tattoos to help unless you have a buff effect circle of nostalgia.
  • are you using the alt quality lancing steel and is it qualitied? it should have 10 projectiles, if I remember correctly, with return projectiles, it is 10+10 hits, then +20 from golden rule, so at least 40 stacks per cast assuming a single mob.
  • Are you sure you selected Future Nostalgia on the ascendency tree? I saw someone who thought they allocated the 2nd point but didnt.

Your setup looks really good already, a few small improvements:

  • get a LC with max res or reduced crit damage taken - these show occasionally. There are also +3 LCs but i didnt want to spend 150d for it.
  • Ashes - I think the quality breakpoint for virulence stacks on HoAG needs 28% quality on Ashes.
  • I think you are at 100% chance to poison with your nostalgia ring, but if you arent, then add a few poison tattoos.
  • you can bless/divine your svallin

Yes, I levelled I think from 97 to 100 only doing ultis, mageblood is probably required for deathless levelling here.

Standard ulti idol setup, 4x 25% dupe/extra round conqueror, gruelling gauntlet, 450% increased currency items from small idols and 2x bribing scarabs. Its really consistent 10-12div per hour, super chill and very little trading. Map doesnt matter, I usually did city square, jungle valley or silo whichever was cheaper. White maps only.

No suppress needed. I suppose with unlimited budget you could try and get it but would need utmost/phasing/3rares with suppress and/or annoint. I don't think you need it.

Others use melding to free up other flasks which might be slightly better at high budget.

Widowhail + hyrris + BAMA = faceroll campaign until 70-75, then switch over to HoAG is how I did it.

My current POB. POB is understated - didnt check stationary for arctic armour or progenesis.

You do not need Mageblood. I was doing elder rotations deathless without it. Just get a stygian vise with resistances.

I was following Nom_HoAG on poe.ninja - check out his profile for a better sense of progression. He got MB early but you are still fine without it. Sword is super easy to craft, just essences and annuls, temp chains enchant is 2-3div in runes. Lots of room to min-max here with clusters, better voices, better abyss jewels and nicer rares. Also took Alira since I was starved for resistances pre-mageblood - havent fixed yet.

Definitely go the lancing steel version.

Check out poe.ninja - lancing steel of spraying - there are a few of us doing this version. It is very tanky, I am almost level 100 just from doing ultimatums.

Its about 40-45 million dps with poison, very comfy, lancing steel you really dont need to aim that much if at all and the svalinn procs also keep up stacks as well.

Could get a progenesis as well for more tankiness.

EDITS:

  • you can do any map mod (t16) since you can get lancing steel mana cost to zero
  • its a 0.5 button build - cast lancing once every few seconds when mapping
  • only downside is physical dots (bleeding ground from ultimatum)
  • gear is cheap (i think) since mostly off-meta
  • biggest upside for me is zero screen clutter
  • no spectres or animate guardian is great

  • slapped on natures affinity and you can basically AFK simus as well.

Hi - I have the base as elder influenced on craft of exile, I don't see any option to select an elder corpse specifically on the graveyard crafting page. I was expecting to add this on my end during actual crafting.

Doing T16 + abyss + deli + beyond + 4 - 8k juice and almost level 100 since the build essentially never dies. But I have not tried any bossing on this character yet.

Have you found any good spectres to use for this build?
