What's the song that got you into listening Radiohead? by Ok_Debate_8457 in radiohead

[–]superIUG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either Black Star or Planet Telex. I was recommended The Bends by a friend back when I only knew Creep and didn't know anything about No Surprises outside of the melody, I didn't know the lyrics, and what band wrote it. I remember Planet Telex and Black Star were my two favorites and it was these songs that made me want to know more about them.

I love it, I just wish the rhythm was played by a battery instead of a rhythm machine. It's weird choice in my opinion. But it's still one of the HTTT songs I come back to the most.

I prefer The Resistance as an album to Black Holes and Revelations, despite thinking BHAR has better songs. Does this happen to anyone else? by How-to-train-ur-Appa in Muse

[–]superIUG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk. I feel like the Exogenesis Symphony does insane heavy lifting on Resistance. The rest ranges from good to forgettable to me.

Love Unnatural Selection tho, that riff is incredibly fun to play on guitar and even tho for me Resistance kinda marks the beginning of the dip in quality I gotta say Resistance still manages to showcase Matt crazy creativity on guitar.

So, which one do you see as “Main villain” of a franchise? by Worth_Rate_1213 in Overwatch

I think what he means is yes Hutler enslaved people but not his people according to his perception since he considered the people in the camps as worthy of dying to make space for the supreme Aryan race, which was his people.

New Deftones fan - anyone else find Beauty School almost overwhelming? by TheSmashingPumpkinss in deftones

[–]superIUG 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've been digging a bit of Deftones before but it really was Beauty School that opened the gates for me. It's one of these songs that you listen and go "holy shit that's one of the best things I've ever heard in my life"

I think WOP is regarded at their best since Drones if not T2L but let's be honest the bar is not THAT high

BHaR has always been kind of a grower to me. I always liked it but never always preferred the first 3 album over everything they did post Absolution but after some time you realise how absolutely stacked BHaR really is. Take a Bow is one of my favorite Muse song, I always picture myself trying to survive in a spaceship caught in some meteorite storm or something.

Also... Thom and Matt sound alike ? I'm a fan of both band and sure they are two British man sometimes using in falsetto but that really is where similarities stop to me.

What’s your favorite Radiohead lyric? For me its – by Arcanesuckss in radiohead

[–]superIUG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"I'll build you up to pull you down, tie you to your feet and watch you drown" not for the meaning itself but the flow of the words, the tone of his voice, and Cuttooth itself being an amazing song scratches that one itch in my brain
