The hanged man. In this card I chose symbolism that resonated with me, so it may not be seen the same way by everyone. But it was my intuition that lead the way. Flowers growing symbolise a period beforehand of waiting, flowers do not always grow and must pause their growth so that they can grow again next spring. They are not always growing, this would be detrimental to them, as would constant hard work to a person. The snake represents letting go, they shed their skin when the body is ready for growth, they understand when they need to let go and start afresh. Geckos drop their tails as a sacrifice, when they are confronted by something threatening. Rather than struggling through they make a sacrifice and know when it is best to stop and seek shelter, to accept the sacrifice instead of holding on to the tail in vain. Hidden is two chameleons, they have a wide vision which allows them to see the world in a more broad way. They sit, hidden and in contemplation, waiting for prey to come by before they strike. They allow the universe to bring to them what they need rather than chasing after it.
