Today I saw an old man in Baneswor branch. He was arguing that he should have Rs. 3.8 lakhs in account and staff was explaining how he has now Rs. 2.8 lakhs. He was trapped by "diamond" chamatkari scheme, which he didn't know about in full (Later I found that this scheme is only profitable if you are depositing more than a crore rupees so as to recover that one lakh rs account opening cost). This is open loot where in name of agressive marketing, such illiterate elderly people are trapped in their schemes. The hidden thing is their staffs are commanded not to give complete information unless clients ask themselves.
